Thank you for visiting our website. As you go through the various pages you will see that we provide a number of different services, from individual, family, and couples counseling to group therapy and court approved classes. The hope is you will find one of our therapists that is a good match for the issues and circumstances you are facing. Feel free to call us at (760) 806-4350 if you have any questions or would like to discuss your situation.
At the Center for Change we provide individual, couples and marriage counseling that addresses a number of issues, including addictions, anger and conflict management, and parenting. We can assist you in identifying and understanding the patterns in your life and relationships that have led to unhappiness. Specialties include helping individuals and couples overcome intimacy issues, infidelity and addictions.
Sexual addiction, impulsive behaviors, and general issues with sexuality are growing problems in our society. We have expertise in dealing with sexual addiction and/or pornography addictions.
The reason people turn to compulsive behaviors is the same: to escape or distract themselves from pain. Escape, while it may seem attractive, prevents us from growing, learning and developing, and it does not solve the problems that are causing the pain. Usually escape makes our problems worse or creates new ones.
Though very challenging, change is possible. It is a choice we make, whether consciously or unconsciously, to stay in unhealthy, unhappy relationships and lives, or to do the hard work necessary to change, grow and become the fulfilled, productive, creative, caring and loving people we are meant to be.
Other services offered at the Center for Change include court approved classes in Co-Parenting for Divorcing Parents, Parenting Classes, Anger Management, Domestic Violence, and Substance Abuse Counseling.
Once again, welcome to our site. Please call if you have any questions. We are here to assist you in addressing, learning, and growing from life's challenges.
